Formal consultation
Under the Nature Conservation Act, we actively contribute to community consultation when required. Where the Conservator of Flora and Fauna identifies matters as suitable, the Nature Conservation Forum serves as a formal consultative body.
In this role, the forum provides clear, structured advice from the community directly to the ACT Government. We contribute a diversity of perspectives and informed views. The forum does not need to reach consensus to provide meaningful and constructive advice.
