Conditions

By submitting an entry to this photography competition, the entrants and, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian confirm that they have read and understood the following conditions and agree to comply with them.

1. Entry limit: Each entrant may enter a maximum of three (3) photographs. A separate entry form must be completed for each photograph.

2. Copyright and Use of Photographs: The copyright and ownership of each photograph remain with the entrant. By submitting a photograph, the entrant grants ACT Farmers and Landcare ACT to use the images in future, without limitation. ACT Farmers and Landcare ACT will provide appropriate attribution by naming the entrant wherever reasonably practicable.

3. Printing: By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to their photograph being reproduced as a high-quality A3 print.

4. Permissions: Entrants must obtain permission from the relevant landholder before entering private property to take photographs. Entrants must obtain appropriate consent from identifiable individuals before submitting photographs of them. Where a person photographed is under 18 years of age, permission from their parent or legal guardian must be obtained. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that any required permissions and consents have been obtained before submitting their entries.

5. Public Information: The entrant acknowledges that the following information may be displayed alongside their photograph in competition display:

  • Entrant’s age
  • Title of the photograph
  • Description of the Photograph
  • Details of the camera equipment used

This information may also be published on ACT Farmers and Landcare ACT websites, social media channels and other competition-related communications.

Only information necessary for these purposes will be published. Entrants should not include sensitive personal information in their photograph descriptions.
