Deepen your Nature Connection

Are you eager to deepen your Nature Connection? Discover the science, delve into practical applications, and share your own experiences.

Landcare ACT is thrilled to introduce a brand-new course, developed in collaboration with NatureFix, to facilitate a deep dive into nature connection. This month-long journey is designed to be an in-depth exploration into the myriad benefits of nature connection – for both personal health and wellbeing as well as environmental outcomes. Together, we'll explore the evidence-based science that underpins the practice.

This comprehensive course spans five engaging online sessions, each lasting 90 minutes, along with two in-person sessions for ACT residents. As a participant, you'll gain access to the NatureFix app, receive timely email reminders, and access valuable resources for self-guided activities. You'll also be invited to join an ongoing peer network.

Throughout the course, we'll explore a variety of topics, including the science behind nature connection, practical strategies for integrating nature connection into conservation efforts, insights into Indigenous perspectives on our connection to the land, and opportunities to collaboratively design nature connection prompts within the landscape. Join us on this enlightening journey!

It's for everyone who wants to deepen their own connection to nature, enable this for others, and experience both learning (science/research/insights) and doing (tangible embodied benefits).
