Main Conference - Saturday 12th August - The Conference Centre, Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC)
We are delighted to invite you to the ACT Environmental Volunteers Conference, brought to you by the ACT government and community Landcare. This conference brings together volunteers, community organisations, experts and policy makers to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from each other.
With the theme "Resilient Environments, Resilient Communities", this event will explore innovative approaches, local experiences, and the latest research in environmental conservation, addressing the challenges of climate change, and fostering a sense of connection with nature.
An optional program of Field Trips is planned for Friday 11th August, with guided tours of a number of sites across the ACT, with a choice of three options during the morning session, and another three during the afternoon session. Travel is by bus, leaving from and returning to Weston Park, Yarralumla. Lunch will be provided at Weston Park during the change-over period.
